The format of syndication feeds is stated on the site.
Objectives
Enables users to know if the syndicated feed provided is in a format that their tools can read.
Possible technical solutions:
Make it clear whether the syndicated feeds are RSS and/or Atom. Add version numbers if you know them : (RSS0.91, RSS1.0, RSS2.0)
Control methods:
Test that the feed is valid : http://www.feedvalidator.org/ http://www.atomenabled.org/feedvalidator/
